Window Dressing is the newest in a series that builds upon my interest in home décor stores, magazines and online platforms. Specifically interested in how many of these spaces are not diverse or, in the case of a store like Anthropology, exist because of culturally appropriating esthetics. With this work, home décor is another extension of borders and fences by the ways in which we construct our home around us.  Each piece is hand cut, painted with the hot florescent paint, collaged and reassembled, creating a large wall installation meant to evoke images of veils, shields or room dividers.
